What im not ok with is peaple who force their religion on others and use it as an excuse for breaking the low. And this is why i hate extreme ateists who say "GOD IS NOT REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" im like pls can i belive in what i want? Because this is asentialy forcing your lac of belife on others. Reply Kelly Kerr says: November 12, 2019 at 10:07 am Miranda talks like a 'dude' Reply i am Calm says: November 12, 2019 at 10:13 am My parents are highly religious, and I do believe in God (no hate, please) but I believe that the parent has something to do with the rebellion of her child, and why she acts like that. What her daughter needs is an open mind about religion and the mother needs understanding too. She shouldn't force something inside a 22-YEAR-OLD person's head. My philosophy teacher once said that ages 15-18 are the ages wherein you can still change a child/teenager's actions morally with them willingly doing it. After that age, it will still be possible, but a change of heart needs to occur, and only few have the will to do that. Reply April 🥀Rose says: November 12, 2019 at 10:17 am If she knew as much as she thought she as a Christian, she would know that Christmas ISNT Jesus’ birthday after all. Reply mama mandy says: November 12, 2019 at 11:32 am quit pushing Jesus on your kids and have them figure their spiritual life out themselves like they're supposed to …and the mom didnt smile while saying that that's just her face …why would dr phil think the mom "takes pleasure in that" Reply Felicity S says: November 12, 2019 at 11:41 am I like Miranda! Reply ella says: November 12, 2019 at 12:00 pm She's mad that she didn't believe in Santa Claus but doesn't want to believe in god. Reply Melonie Brown says: November 12, 2019 at 1:38 pm Pentecostal? That explains a lot! Reply Alyssa Cogswell says: November 12, 2019 at 1:42 pm This is toxic and the mom has toxic theology. Even if it’s your own child Reply Miranda S. says: November 12, 2019 at 1:57 pm Yeah the mom definitely has control problems. In the other video you can see that she sent her daughter to a bar to get drinks, finds her daughter drinking alcohol, and then texts dr Phil’s staff asking if he can come TO THE BAR and help her. I am Christian myself, and I dont think there’s anything wrong with wanting to raise your kids in the church. But THIS is not okay. Reply Trisha Yamada says: November 12, 2019 at 2:09 pm Weaponized religion. It’s a disease on society. Reply Rob Wever says: November 12, 2019 at 2:17 pm What is dwi means? Reply Batcavesales Batman says: November 12, 2019 at 2:39 pm Any one going to a “Christian” school will rebel first chance. Who do they think they are to separate their kids from the rest of us . Reply Adrian Rose says: November 12, 2019 at 2:47 pm Good grief they are both crazy.😜 Reply TheBizzle1984 says: November 12, 2019 at 2:57 pm The mom calling the daughter unstable is the very definition of the pot calling the kettle black. The mom has zero self-awareness, it's not surprising the daughter is so messed up, after being raised by someone so clearly mentally unwell and delusional. Reply Mr. CoTrain says: November 12, 2019 at 3:01 pm So, parents really need to learn not to force organized religion on their kids. All it does is create resentment and makes us never want to go again. Reply aliheartzu phrakonkham says: November 12, 2019 at 3:04 pm …the mom is in heavy denial Reply Terri Freeman says: November 12, 2019 at 3:05 pm Religious Indoctrination is DANGEROUS and PATHOLOGICAL. I hate how they keep using that as an excuse for their actions "Oh, we need to do the right CHRISTIAN thing" People can be good without being religious. Religious ones are the ones that are judgemental control freaks 🤷🏽♀️🙄 Reply Dexxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx says: November 12, 2019 at 5:07 pm I relate to that GOD ISNT REAL MOM issue it was always fun to hear her response Reply Hana Kellogg says: November 12, 2019 at 5:17 pm I grew up in a private school too. Reply Jenn Definitely says: November 12, 2019 at 7:28 pm The problem is…Miranda and her Mom are suffocating one another. They need to seperate. I think their relationship is quite weird myself. Reply Pauliina Rachel says: November 12, 2019 at 7:57 pm Her mom is far away from ideal Christianity and cause her daughter some peer pressure. Didn't Jesus told in Bible to stay away from arrogance, discounting and despising manners? Church is should to be a building what is mocking club of flawless people. No wonder if girl got exhausted of ideal workoholic flawless life. Reply anabelleb99 says: November 12, 2019 at 8:00 pm I was raised as a Jehovah witness so I get not celebrating anything and I understand struggling with religion… it’s very rough to learn and understand Reply inuyashakarin says: November 12, 2019 at 8:02 pm You can’t trust Christians they’re all fake and evil. Reply Heidi N says: November 12, 2019 at 8:08 pm Im gonna be honest right now;Raising your children in a strict religious home is literally brainwashing them to believe what you believe. The first time I went "trick or treating" was with my son. It was difficult going to family outings at that age cuz all my cousins and their friends… I wasn't allowed to tell them that santa, the Easter Bunny, tooth fairy… Were not real. One time I tried to sneakily tell them so I wouldn't get in trouble with my mom. And to my surprise the backlash from the other kids was so intense they wanted to kill me lol. They couldn't/wouldn't believe it. Reply Hilary C says: November 12, 2019 at 9:27 pm Mom's in HR? Well, maybe as a paper pusher, but she's not go what it takes to work the front lines on the tough stuff. She's weak, not that smart, wishy washy and I do think her fighting Miranda's problems gives her some weird affirmation. Right Fighter complex.
