– Obviously, I was the
one that had to figure out where I would be because Gary
was the one that was moving. We actually had started out not sure which one of us, which
career we would follow. But when we decided to follow Gary’s, I knew that I was committed,
as I mentioned earlier, to education and access
to public education. So, we combined our, So, we combined our, – Yeah. – I would say, our philosophy about what we wanted to do in our life when we began, when we
moved to California. We’re pretty strategic
about trying to make sure that we got out to community,
and recruited students to go to wherever we were because we
believed in that university, and I anticipate that we
will do the same thing here. – Yeah, it’s hard to imagine. Just from a practical point of view, it’s hard to imagine doing these, these positions without
a partner like this. Plus it’s so important to
engage in the community because these universities
have to engage in the community that’s a part of their
role, public universities. But what made it easier
was we had this same idea about public education and
the importance of access. We’ve had some great experiences, – We have. – together. – We’ve had a lot of fun. – We’ve met some great,
very interesting people.
