– Buongiorno! We’re looking right now
over Via dell’Indipendenza, one of the most important
streets in Bologna, with the most activity and the most shops. And this also happens to be the balcony that’s right off my bedroom. The Italian Studies students
have the opportunity to either live with a host family, or live in an apartment. In this apartment, there are seven people. Six of us are Dickinson students, and one of us is the Italian student. – (speaking in foreign language) (laughing) – [Sophia] Her role is to help foster Italian conversation
in our everyday lives. – She’s our dictionary when we’re at home. It’s different learning

people who speak Italian. – (speaking in foreign language) – We have four bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a kitchen where we cook
all of our meals together. We trade off cooking
every night of the week, and we just spend a lot of time together here in this apartment. (piano music)
