CPS college night will have three main
components a college fair with over 30 colleges present information sessions
about relevant information like athletic eligibility and accessibility services
and a financial aid and FAFSA completion lab so you can get all of your financial
needs met this is really nice and we’re basically going to actually
ask questions like face to face with some of the college representatives
which is some information that she would get off of the computer the internet they’re gonna be helping us with our
application and our personal essays I wasn’t really confident in my personal
essay at first but now I’m gonna have like multiple people reading it giving
me feedback so I’m really excited about that at first I was like really super worried
about college and what I’m gonna do but when I came here and start looking at
Seneca College is like a huge huge thing I’ve just been lifted off my shoulders I come back next year to look at even more
colleges and get a better view of what they offer and it kind of opens me up to
all the smaller colleges that I wouldn’t normally have considered that I have now it’s an opportunity just to start the
process early kind of see what’s out there and figure out where we might want
to visit or get more information it’s all right here we hope that students and
families walk away from this event having a sense of what their next steps
are if they’re a senior they should have a sense of what colleges they’re
applying to and how to apply to them and what type of financial aid and
scholarships they’re eligible for if they’re an underclassmen we want them to
have a sense of who they might look at and how to find a best fit college
